Little Quote Book

I keep this small quote book in my bathroom.  This particular one is “Positive Quotations” and it has a page for all 365 days in the year.

I don’t read it every day, just whenever I remember to glance at it or whenever I feel like I need a little bit of a spiritual boost.  I’m not sure why it moves me or causes me think deeply but it does.  I’m just a quote kind of gal.

Words like these shown here often inspire me.  Some of them are words of wisdom.  Others may be voices of reason or simply sarcasm.

When I read them, I pause for a few moments.  I read it again.  I think about what’s being said and how it might apply to my life in some way.

I love hearing what others have to say about life experiences, courage, struggle, faith, and more.  I suppose in many ways this little quote book is like a Bible for me.   Just a few lines become my ‘sermon.’  It sends a special message that touches my mind and heart.  Or If find it just pure bullshit and laugh over it.
