Pumpkin Love
Many people think December is the craziest time of the year. For us, it seems to be the month of October. Our family absolutely loves the Fall season – cooler weather, various shades of leaves (red, gold, brown, etc.), lots of festivals, fairs, pumpkin recipes, pumpkin patches and the birth of my first pumpkin daughter too (who turns 7 on Oct. 29)!
I didn’t realize a whole month had gone by since my last post here…whew! I didn’t mean to be absent yet I hadn’t taken the time to write here. I’ve taken on a new project at work (one that pays extra, score!) I challenged myself with a new physical fitness routine too. I’ve been trying several new pumpkin-spiced flavored recipes and I reached out to new friends who moved to the area. Out with the old, in with the new, I suppose! With the new season, why not mix it up yet again?!
Everything is going really well. The family has been healthy and happy (well there are daily two-year old tantrums but that’s just normal). We’ve been staying active and getting outdoors each weekend. I have some writing that will be published next month that I can’t wait to share.
Until then, get out and enjoy yourself. Show some love to the pumpkins in your life….
